Over the last 3 years Oakray has carried out over 65 LED lighting upgrades/installation projects across Social Housing Schemes, Schools, Fire Stations, Listed Public Buildings and Day Care Centres.

Our energy and sustainability renewable division has a unique understanding of the commercial and technical issues surrounding the new and retrofit environment. As a complete service and solution provider we work with and assist our clients in developing tailored strategies that help them to reduce costs and carbon emissions, thus ensuring that their buildings are compliant and meeting the government energy legislation criteria, the ‘Carbon Reduction Commitment Efficiency Scheme (CRC Scheme).

Our free energy assessments help our clients save money and reduce their carbon footprint, whilst helping to protect the environment.

We offer advice and guidance on energy solutions including Heat Pumps, Solar thermal Panels, and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels installations.

Oakray are accredited with UKAS ISO14001: and are committed to monitoring, controlling and conserving energy across the business throughout all service deliverables.

We have initiated steps towards a Net Zero Carbon future, by becoming a Gold Member of the Energise Net Zero Carbon Club. Our engagement with environmental consultants “Energise” enables us to review our business and service delivery, and produce a Net Zero Carbon Strategy Plan that aligns with climatic science, government legislation and develops an actionable pathway to achieving and maintaining Net Zero by 2030.
