Health and Safety is paramount to Oakray.
We have a dedicated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality department and we are members of the British Safety Council, ROSPA, EXOR, CHAS and Constructionline.
We are dedicated to providing a high quality of service and client satisfaction through our commitment to a policy of good health and safety practice whilst continuously looking to improve all aspects of occupational health, management and performance of our overall service delivery to our clients and their end-users.
Our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality managers are responsible for ensuring that the company Health and Safety plan is effectively implemented alongside our policies and safe working practices.
All our employees have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and also for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions. All our Directors, Senior Managers and Supervisors undertake IOSH Management Safety training and this is further backed-up by regular in-house training and seminars. In order to ensure that our Health and Safety policies are as rigorous and robust as they can be, we organise for an independent Health and Safety Consultant to carry out an annual audit of our Health and Safety policy and procedures (accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001) as part of our annual Health and Safety review.

Health and Safety issues are discussed at board level on an on-going basis and included in all meeting agendas with staff and operatives.
