Oakray People Development

Training and Apprenticeships

We share knowledge and best practices across the company and also with our partners and supply chain. As an example, the training of our operatives by boiler manufacturers has enabled us to undertake the warranty works ourselves, ensuring a rapid solution and improved service delivery for the end user. Our commitment to the training and development of all our staff, together with utilising their individual skills and local knowledge, equips Oakray to do the best job possible wherever we operate. A ‘Training Partner’ with Hertfordshire Regional College, we also work in partnership with the NICEIC, providing the latest training in electrical and renewable energy.

Our Social Value Charter

Oakray fully understand our responsibilities in delivering sustainable, equitable social value commitments for the residents and communities with whom we work.

We will provide meaningful commitments that have a direct, positive and long-lasting impact for residents and communities.

We work collaboratively with our clients offering training, apprenticeships and job opportunities.

We engage with our supply chain partners to provide contract added value for our clients. Benefitting the local economy and reducing adverse environmental impacts.
